Such lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend Pukemiro - best room is the one with the enormous bed and the en suite!! View to Mt Taranaki one way and the ocean the other. Amazing home-made choice for breakfast - muesli, yogurt, preserves and local fruit and honey not to mention a huge range of preserves for sale. Rosanna is so helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay, harvested some preserves from Rossana. Tho didn't get time for a farm tour... I'm sure it's amazing.Rooms: 4/5
Amazing place to stay at, feels like being at home at all times. Evan and Roseanna treat every guest with a heart warming welcome making it feel like you're apart of their family. Beautiful view of Mt. Taranaki and close to the beach which makes it a huge bonus.
Superbly attentive in every way the hosts, Evan and Rosanna, welcome visitors to their rural retreat from a busy world and offer the soothing green balm of fully productive exotic orchards and gardens. If you get a chance to have a meal here, it's all come from the land and is destined to be one of the most memorable meals you have ever had. Vegetarians are also delightfully catered for. The views out over the cliffs to the sea and the river are majestic and inspiring with evenings of bright pink and orange sunsets. A marshmallow roasting around the fire pit is a nostalgic treat and when your comfy bed calls the dreams are serene.
Had a wonderful time staying with Evan and his family in their farm stay. Beautiful scenery, clean rooms and wonderful fishing!
Fantastic views from this wonderful place - terrific preserves and of course a lovely interesting owner - thank you Rosanna for sharing your piece of paradise with us from Katikati. Cathy
