A lovely little open area in the middle of the town. Good to have a rest. Will give 5 stars if there is toilets.
We spend an afternoon here, son playing in the cozy playground. Quiet, clean and peaceful
A pleasant spot to contemplate your place in the world on a warm sunny day.nnA strange thing is that all the coffee shops in the area close down in the afternoon at 2:30pm. I'm not sure why, but it's hard to get a coffee. If you are thinking of getting a cake & and coffee, stay a way from King Street in Pukekohe, or you will hit the crazy early closing. They obviously have lots of money and don't need the afternoon trade!!!
Square awesome i remember when was growing up and my Cousin was living in town. The street had cobble stone then. I remember seeing horse and cart bringing in flowers Cars in the sixty , fifties. And paddocks everywhere. Now i could sit there all day watching the people go past. Also when i was growing up i would look forward to the Christmas parade and spending my money on a toy mechanical mouse. Which i thought was the Bomb or the in thing.
