A charming tea room with a beautiful garden! The tea room is very quaint, filled with interesting decor and items. We loves to see the stock of homemade jams and preserves.nnThe high tea was absolutely delicious and they were very generous with their servings. It was a great way to top our visit to Puhoi. It was a lovely visit.
Lovely little spot for a delicious tea or coffee in the garden along with a pie, quiche or scone. Beautiful gardens with friendly little sparrows.
Beautiful place and beautiful hosts. Stayed here while walking TA and Steve was delightful with his own unique brand of charm, extremely nice man. scones, sausage rolls, veggie quiche were all so delicious and great great coffee. LOVED the interior of the place, good prices especially compared to the pub and a lovely property if you are a TA tramper in need of a rest. Thank you Steve, we love you!!!
Nice to see reviews are answered. The owner has been here two years and does lack some charm as in another review. Scones are lovely, not offered butter though. Returned a cup, not clean. A nice garden setting and a good stopping off spot.
We enjoyed a great minestrone soup and after we talked to our host, we received a lot of local information and excellent outstanding service. Highly recommended to enjoy a Kawakawa ginger tea! Don’t forget the scones as well!nThank you Josje and Flip
