The Piopio public toilets are without doubt the best in the waitomo district.nAs a 145kg man it's paramount the seat can handle my weight and the bowl endure the absolute punishment I dish out!nPiopio aways comes up Trump.nMy apologies to the cleaners.
The men's restroom was in a terrible state. The toilet was clogged and overflowing, making it unusable. The urinals were also full and clogged, with urine spilling onto the floor. The entire experience was highly unpleasant and unhygienic
Clean enough, convenient stop for when you're on the road. It doesn't have drinking water tap though.
A great facility when traveling through Pio Pio.Its a shame they have to close them at night though.
