Matthew is a perceptive and professional practitioner who quickly and effectively diagnosed my sports injury. He used a range of treatments that alleviated the pain, and after three treatments my flexibility and mobility has improved 100%. He is an endurance athlete himself so understands both the joy and trials that come with exercising your body. I totally recommend him as a knowledgeable, professional, respectful and effective practitioner, and know he will be able to help me maintain my flexibility and mobility so I can continue to enjoy running.
I have been receiving treatment at Prime care with Matthew recently and also last year. I injured my calf last year and the treatment of acupuncture, cupping and massage was amazing. Just before Christmas I hurt my back.I went straight back to see Matthew. After a couple of treatments I was feeling a lot better. What I love about Matthews treatment is that he is very reasurring and also treats anxiety and stress. He's a great listener and makes you feel relaxed and safe. He is also very professional and kind.
Matthew was extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable in regards to my sprained ankle. He provided me with excellent treatment and advice, leading to a full recovery. He has also helped me with on going back pain, allowing me to live my life pain free. Im extremely thankful for everything he has done for me. MATHEW IS AMAZING !! I don’t usually write reviews but in this case I just have to . I initially made an appointment with prime care as I was suffering from headaches and dizziness going on for months I wasn’t sure what to expect ,but after only having a few sessions the relief was immense.PrimeCare is my happy place. !! I go there knowing that I have a master in his trade who truely cares about my body and my mind as he has helped mend both . I have recently had a cancer diagnosis, and Mathew has gone out of his way to support me through this journey . I could rave on and on .but you just need to get yourself there if you have any health issues as you will find out first hand how amazing he is . Thank you Mathew .
If I could give 10 stars, I would! Mathew is incredibly professional, knowledgeable & just a nice person. I wasn't sure if acupuncture was going to be for me but Matthew was reassuring and after a few apts there was a noticeable improvement. I had nerve pain and damage from a dislocated/sprained ankle. After a month of regular acupuncture and intense massage on my foot, I now have zero nerve pain and my nerve sensitivity has improved immensely. Trust the process. Thank you Mathew!
Matthew is very professional at what he does. He is so knowledgeable and carring person. I've met him month ago after my car accident and having broken back. Ever since I met him, my back feels so much better after each session. I also have concussion as well and he is treating my neck and shoulder which he is doing a great job of. I really recommend him as he is amazing person with a lot of skills that can help anyone's needs.
I started seeing Matthew about 4 months ago for chronic pain caused by fibromyalgia. I had been in pain since December 2021 and it wasn't showing any signs of stopping, and my GP and the rheumatologist were unable to suggest a clear path forward out of the pain I was in. Matthew has made a huge difference to my quality of life and I am extremely grateful. The pain has reduced by 95%, I have much better mobility, and am finding work and life much easier. I take minimal medication for the pain, and no longer need some of the medical interventions that were being discussed for me to treat joint and tendon problems in my hands. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and is a compassionate, kind person. I wholeheartedly recommend his services and treatments. We are very lucky to have him practicing in the Manawatu region.

Exceptional experience with our 15 year old dancer who had a grade 2 ligament damage on her ankle. Worked with acupuncture and also a great at giving us a clear plan for improvement. Highly recommend for any support but especially in an injury scenario that needs a fast recovery
