Prawn Park

Amazing place to spend a hot day with the family. Our 2 granddaughters had an amazing day. Really lovely staff. Great fun. No prawn fishing but that didn't spoil or visit at all.

It’s not that busy even during the Christmas and New Year holiday. Can not fishing now but still a few activities you can do here, different boats. The tour is only about 20mins, you can feed the prawn which it’s exciting and interesting. Children over 3 can have lots of fun.

It is the place I almost stop every time I drove down to south or return from south, It has so many activities to do. Our group of people is more likely havr Lunch or bruch in the restrurant, Their prawns is very juicy, so if you are prawns eater, you might like to try some.

This is a true tourist spot but a great location for some fresh prawns. No vegan dishes. Nice vie over the river. Fresh food and nice service.

Great fun for the kids. Paddle boats. Water cannon. Cool little tour of the prawn hatchery and feeding the prawns by hand was a highlight.

At the moment....there is no prawns for fishing but there are plenty of other activities will entertain the kids including many water rides... You can still taste the prawns in the restaurant next to the Prawn Park.

Love this place, such a good family outing spot. Go every time I visit taupo. Good view, good playground for kids to enjoy. food is delicious shrimps were amazing. Definately a place to go
