Such a great venue for a nostalgic concert such as Hanson! From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted. One of the kind ladies noticed my Mum was on crutches and offered her a stool to sit on if there were no couches available, which once people got up and danced there were. Well ventilated, especially once everybody started getting hot and sweaty you could feel the cool air coming through. Thankyou for a great night!
What an amazing venue for a concert. The size of it is perfect and wherever you sit/stand you can see and hear the most amazing voices. Toliets are clean and the venue is always spotless when you arrive. Plenty of space at the bar and they ensure there is water for people. I you get a chance to hear someone there do it. This was callum Scotts 2nd time here and he sounds amazign
An incredible venue with intimate quarters to the performers. It has a large bar which kept waiting for drinks to under a minute. Nice sheltered smoking area around the back and extremely friendly staff.
Many thanks for hosting The Lumineers!! The acoustics in this venue really did the band justice. I always thought they deserved a bigger stage to play I mean these legends freaking sold out this venue during the pre-sale, but I could tell they had a grand time when they heard the audience sing right along with them loud and clear, which was only possible with a small intimate venue with good acoustics such as this one. Great venue + awesome crowd + epic performance = best night evah!!!
Our first time to the power station in Auckland and this venue is spot ! From the great sound system to the great set up with the top balcony above and the bar set st the back , only regret I have is not living in Auckland so I could head there all the time as they have some awesome acts
Saw Hanson at the Powerstation and it was amazing. The venue is really great, plenty of room, raised sections on the sides and even a balcony to watch from up higher. The sound quality was fantastic and the whole set up was really well done. I didn't know a venue like this existed in NZ so I'll be keeping my eye on who else is coming - I just need somewhere similar in Christchurch now!
I'll be straight up honest. Mainly had a great experience except for one incredibly rude staff member. After he concert I attended ended there were plastic cups all over the floor, I decided to help and pick some up except one staff member came over and practically yelled at me telling me that I was getting in the way. This is the treatment you get for being nice here. Another staff member was there for what happened and told me after that he was typically rude to everyone. Still not behaviour you would expect from someone who is meant to be in charge. Great kudos to the guy that came to apologize on the behalf of him though. Thank you. Regardless of that awful experience, drinks were reasonably priced, a little on the expensive side but nothing you can't deal with. Toilets were tidy and clean. Security were kind enough. Roughly a good experience.
I visited one of my favourite performers. Great drinks, the staff were helpful. There were toilets up and downstairs. Couches and seats were placed in different areas of the place, which I think is amazing. Definitely one of the most comfortable places I've watched a concert in
Love this venue as you get great sound and it is a bit more intimate. Second time there and was not disappointed. With all the construction in the area definitely recommended getting a taxi or just park a little further away and walk over.
Awesome gig. Awful bar staff, bartender tried to overcharge for drinks and then had a rude attitude when I told them, attempted to lie about it until I checked my account. Luckily I got my money. Then another bartender yelled at my friend because they asked for a fresh cup of water as she didn’t want one that had been sitting on the bar due to drink spiking I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
