Loved taking my boy here for a quick play. Equipment is just right for his age, about 2 and a half. Good amount of green space and there is normally a group pigeons gathered here so great fro some pigeon feeding. Car park can be a pain to find and it’s not walled off from the roads so take care when taking kids here. Otherwise a very relaxing and nice spot.
Nice and tidy park, small but enough for the kids to play. Small roses garden for summer, great place to stroll and relax for families with children
Large park / great for kids as has a good playground plus a water feature - it has that old Auckland feel to it - parking is a bit difficult but worth it as there are secluded spots .
Nice little park, close to shops and there is a playground. Lots of benches and rubbish bins. The bins seem to get a bit of use and maybe some abuse, 1 was broken lying on its side today
This place was an accidental and unexpected but pleasant find for me - a real treat. Nestled just at the side of the busy traffic intersection by The Strand. This historical park is oozing with blooming flowers. I can practically sit here in the shade all afternoon admiring the view with a book in hand. It has a mini playground for the kiddos as well. Toilet is clean and parking is decent. I would love to go back here for an afternoon chill.
Nice small park with plenty of shade. It's close to North City mall as well as Takapuna beach so a nice place to get away from the crowds. There is also a playground in the park.
A calm oasis in the midst of a suburb undergoing considerable change. An impressive row of native Totara trees mark the park's north-western boundary along Anzac Street. A gnarled mature pine contrasts with the bright plastic colours of the well-used childrens' playground. Tai-chi classes are often held between the rose beds. Eclectic and authentic.
