Best seafood basket I have had in a long time, fish and chips cooked to perfection not overcooked.nnThe steak meals were also cooked to perfection with the best chips in town.
venue is great... drinks are expensive and food is mediocre. the tomato sauce or whatever sauce I got with my fries has no flavour?? and do NOT get mac n cheese please. it's literally like mashed potatoes and the ham is stone cold... I lost my appetite after one bite of my cousins food. onion rings were wet??? staff is lovely though :
Stopped in for dinner and a beer. Delicious simple meals and at a great price. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely ladies at the bar looking after us. Thanks team!
We were staying across the road, so cannot rate the accommodation. However, for our 5 night stay in Pahiatua, we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant every night. Meals were excellent and staff were friendly.
I booked five rooms at late notice for 10+ people to travel for a funeral.nThe staff at P.O Hotel have been nothing short of amazing. Raewyn was an absolute angel and a miracle worker, even fitting 18 people in for dinner at an hours notice.nWe will not forget the kindness that your team have shown us over the last couple of days - Thank you!!!
