I absolutely loved it here, the service was super friendly, the house wine was beautiful, and this was the best chicken salad I have had anywhere! Loved it, thank you.
Great location and atmosphere. Reasonably priced food and drink. But the Blue Cod meal is really for tourists and not locals: not much actual fish for the price.
This place is steeped in history, complete with old phone down by the toilets. Wish I'd taken a pic. Nice bar food. Busy wee place for a Sunday, so obviously popular.
Lovely little pub in lovely little Portobello village. Friendly service, nice garden bar and yummy hot chips.
Friendly and professional staff, lovely meal and Emersons Beer. Can't fault it.
Was recommended to drop by for some seafood by the ownerjerry? of a cafe slightly above royal albatross centre as they didn’t have warm food for us in their cafe. We had seafood chowder and fish and chips. One of my best meals in NZ. Fish batter was so tasty and the chowder was rich in flavor!!
Love going to this pub atmosphere is fantastic, good to watch a game. Plus the food is great, the staff are really helpful and friendly.
