The Vertus Team at 10 George Street made moving into our new flat a breeze. The sales staff, move coordinator, building manager, concierge staff, and the maintenance team all made us feel very welcomed. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. They lowered the stress in a stressful situation.
2020 what a fabulous year - Thank goodness for Vertus, a move I made 3 weeks ahead of the first lockdown back in March. These guys are ripping up the residential rental market, committed to delivering not just an entirely new level of apartment to rent, nothing I’ve seen comes close but an altogether original environment to live, WFH, meet people and enjoy. Yes, it is a little spenny but god its worth it. I don't work in finance, wear a suit or drive a Range… forget the stereotypes, I absolutely love living here, as does my 7 year old son when he visits. I’ve just renewed my lease and switched my one bed for a two! The apartments are v impressive and sit shoulder to shoulder with any ‘for sale’ new build in the area, but like I’ve said, living here is less about posh apartments and more about the experience, new friends, neighbours and when the sun shines, the very best terrace times.
I moved in just over a week ago. The building and general look of the apartment is lovely, however, there are several issues in my apartment with furniture and appliances. An engineer came up on the very first day and said that he logged 3 issues himself and I have logged 3 more upon discovery. I haven’t had so many issues immediately upon moving in anywhere before and I’ve rented much cheaper places. They are all still outstanding and nobody has contacted me about resolving any of them. I have a sofa I cannot sit on for more than 5 minutes without being sore because the seating is so thin/flat/saggy I can feel the hard base- it also has a large stain on it there is also a stained rug underneath it. Not exactly a “luxury” experience, sadly, my worst moving-in experience so far. Hope it improves but reading the other reviews doesn’t leave me with much faith.
I know that Vertus advertisement looks like they are able to provide luxurious properties and luxurious service, but this is completely wrong. Apartments are poorly made and the buildings have huge amount of issue ig permanent how water outages etc and the management service is the worst ever. If you think you’ve seen worst service, you are wrong, worst is with Vertus and their “managers”. Moreover they are scamming tenants with incorrect utility bills making them overpay every month like 1k£ per month for 1 bedroom is some kind of a joke. Avoid at any cost, don't do business with them, you’ll just loose money. This is not just my opinion, it’s common for everyone who rents with Vertus and it is widely discussed in tenants chats.
We've lived here for a little over a year now. We have really enjoyed it. The best part is the Concierge team. They are always friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to help answer your questions.
I wish to go back in the time and never sign the contract with Vertus. The apartment is great with fancy furnitures and nice view. But they have bad management team. Before moving they assured me to fix the broken window in my apartment. I live here since 8 months now. But they didn't fix it. 3 months ago I notified the concierge about the widow and the fact that the winter is coming and it's freezing in the apartment. They didn't fix it despite specifying my health condition. I am born with sickle cell disease and winter is not an easy time for people like me because of the cold. They didn't come to fix the broken window and it's freezing. Now they did not answer to my message and the manager is always busy. I think if my health deteriorate I will have sue vertus with my lawyer and breach my contract by December. I really like the apartment it cost me a lot more than £23000 but I prefer to have a great health condition. I value more my life than materials.
Great Apartment in amazing location. Close to metro and decent amenities. Nice views yet Keycards can be a headache.
We spent quite a while finding the best apartment in Canary Wharf, and inspected three separate times over a few weeks with Walid in different buildings—who stayed very friendly & relaxed despite our long process haha. Bit more expensive but they do have some of the best places in the wharf. Will have to update later for a fuller review, but so far so good!
If you check the identity of other reviewers they all only have made one contribution on google review - this apartment building. Very suspicious. Given Vertus’ aggressive marketing elsewhere, I suspect that they might have written those reviews themselves. The building is nice, in particular the whole wood wharf area is lovely. But there is no proper gym, no pool, and thus if you are looking for value for money you should consider other new developments in Canary Wharf.
This is an incredible place to live! The service from the staff was exceptional, the building and amenity spaces are stunning. I made friends so quickly, making me feel like I am part of a community, my last flat was nice but couldn't shake the feeling that I was somehow isolated as new to that part of town. The flat was so spacious and beautifully finished, I felt instantly calm and relaxed when I walked in the door, to top it all off the views from my balcony were stunning!
