Good soccor ground. Good parking, enough to park motorhome and caravan. You can spend couple of nights with self-contained one. Good place to walk.
Good freedom camp park over for self-contained vehicles in the city.
Great spot to stop and stay in the caravan for a night on the way through, usually fairly quiet - can be busy if there's a school sports on - but that's to be expected...
I loved it here, first time visiting Hamilton as my son was in the North Island athletics held here such a great stadium
Soft surface running track open to the public during daylight hours - resurfaced January 2024. Loads of different groups use it - check the website. Toilets available. Haven't checked out showers etc.
