Porirua Train Station is clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate. There are plenty of services nearby, making it a convenient place to start or finish your journey. The platforms are well signposted, and we found everything to be well organised. Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient station with good facilities, and we’d happily use it again.

A well equipped and helpful station with a convenient little coffee shop too. However the design of the newly refurbished toilets within the station is more typically used in high vandalism areas with the fixed seat design and poor aiming of some patrons rendering them unpleasant to use.
