Poppies New Plymouth - a warm and friendly book store nestled in the heart of New Plymouth city. Only a few minutes walk from the Govett Brewster Art Gallery & Puke Ariki Museum & Library. 30 minutes free parking outside the store.

Come and visit us for the latest new releases, best sellers, prize winners and classics. Children's books are a specialty. We also have a wonderful range of cards, stationery and wrapping paper.

Poppies is the most beautiful bookstore I have been to. Very helpful with knowledge of the books and outstanding service. Definitely a must see.
Amazingly helpful staff Nothing is too much trouble
Amazing range of books with beautiful displays that were aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Couldve stayed for hours, all it was missing was a cup of tea or coffee and a quite reading nook
