Poco Loco Cafe

About

Welcome to Franklin's Original Tapas Restaurant.

Story

Poco Loco means "Little Crazy" in Spanish, so come along for a different and fun eating experience.

All our dishes are cooked from fresh, seasonal, local produce using authentic Mediterranean recipes with a Kiwi twist.

Tapas means “Lids” and is a traditional Mediterranean way of eating snack sized portions of food where everyone shares what is on the table. You can choose to mix and match depending on your taste and appetite. It’s great, tasty, fresh food prepared daily. The Italians call it antipasto, the Chinese call it yum char and the Spanish call it tapas. It’s just a delightful way to enjoy food.

Check out our menu - and don't forget our tapas dishes are available takeaway.

Good atmosphere and great friendly helpful staff. Tapas style share dishes - a bit on the pricey side average per dish is 16.90-19.90. Good flavours. Might want to go a bit easy on the Lime flavours as it overpowered the Prawns and the cheesecake dessert. Perfect Creme Brulee! Great place for groups
The food I really enjoyed, the chardonnay was one of my favorites. It was quick service and a not many people there for a Thursday evening.
As you entered the restaurant you could feel it was very cold to start with, they offered blankets but during covid not really a great idea, everyone in the restaurant was wearing jackets. when the food was brought out and was really quite disappointing food was cold and cold plates. Overall wouldn't recommend going.
Delicious, seasonal tapas, amazing sangria and a fantastic cheesecake to top it all off! Highly recommend.
Quite tasty! Highly recommend the sauteed chicken livers dish. Complimentary bread and hummus served at the start of the meal was a lovely touch. A bit pricey at $15.50 for small tapas, but this is one of the tastier restaurants available in Pukekohe.
Disappointing. The portions sizes were nothing like the posted images and sizes that are typical of tapas at other venues. Also a definite lack of flavour. Staff were attentive but service was slow.
