Rachel Kyle
Principal Physiotherapist
DipPhty, MHSc, NZRP, MNZSP
Graduate of Otago School of Physiotherapy.
Extensive experience in Sports Physiotherapy & Orthopaedics in NZ, USA & Australia.
Master of Health Science in Physiotherapy from University of St. Augustine, Florida.
Specialities include: Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Concussion, Vertigo, Work and Sports Rehabilitation.
Ditte van Vliet
Physiotherapist
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Graduate of Otago School of Physiotherapy 2010.
Three and a half years experience working in an acute and rehabilitation hospital
Three years experience working in private practice
Special Interests include: Dry needling, pain, neurological rehabilitation. Work Rehabilitation Programs.
Shelley May
Physiotherapist
BSc Hons Physiotherapy
Graduate of Brighton University, School of Physiotherapy, England, 2008.
Two years experience working in an acute and a rehabilitation hospital for the National Health Service (UK)
Seven years experience working in private practice.
Special Interests include: Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy (completed all SPNZ (Sports Physiotherapy New Zealand) Level 1 courses), and Work Rehabilitation Programs.
Plus Rehab CHB is proud to offer a wide range of physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy and manipulation, exercise therapy, McKenzie Concept, Dry Needling, Vertigo and Concussion management, sports and work rehabilitation to name just a few.
We are proud to have Amber from Functional Podiatry every Wednesday, Ali from Fruition Massage Therapy on Thursdays and Fridays, and Neil from True Point Healing providing acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping and tuina massage services on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Appointments can be made through the respective person (not through Plus Rehab CHB).
We are proud supporters of Central Sports Rugby and CHB College. Having a satellite clinic at CHB College 3 days a week, and providing pitch side physiotherapy services for Central Premiers on match days.
With subsidised rates for all children, Central Sports, Takapau Rugby and Netball, Porangahau Rugby, Otane Rugby and Netball, the local volunteer fire brigade and community services and gold card holders.
We also provide on site physiotherapy services for Silver Fern Farms Takapau twice a week.
We also except Farmlands cards.
A wide range of physiotherapy related products including strapping tape, braces, orthotics, massage creams etc. are available for purchase by clients and non-clients.
