Established in 1995 by founder and Manging Director Edith Carpenter, Planet Earth Travel is a Travel Agency located predominately in Auckland dedicated to customer service and going the extra mile to ensure that you get your travel arrangements sorted.

Fantastic service. We sadly had to cancel a holiday recently due to illness and I was able to speak to an agent without being put on hold. They were friendly and helpful. My money was refunded and in my account within days. 12 out of 10 for exceptional service!! Highly recommend

Gentlemen on the phone was very helpful and non pushy. If the policy is as good, I'd be more than happy to always use even if they aren't the cheapest.

Please, please do not use this company.  My husband had a stroke in Jamaica and they left us stranded. They wouldn't speak to the hospital, as they were too busy, and after my initial call to explain what had happened they wouldn't take my call, just kept saying they would ring back.  We had to pay for medical care 3 nights / 4 days and once discharged from the hospital they wouldn't help us find or pay for flights or a hotel.  After every call of which there were many, I sent an email in the hope that someone would help, but they didn't!!

Good Affordable Travel Insurance needed a cover letter for Thai Pass, after a quick call to the very helpfull team letter was e-mailed within 10 minutes and perfect for my needs. So nice to use a UK based company willing to help you with your requirements. Thank You

We took out a family policy with Planet Earth and before our trip enquired what cover we would have with the policy, should someone took Covid during the holiday.We were advised that only the person would be covered and other family members would not. This did not suit the needs of our trip and we  have unfortunately had to take out insurance with another company that covers us fully as a family. Very disappointing.

Very helpful and good value for money insurance policy and a very helpful staff,will certainly buy from these again

If I could give negative star ratings, I would. I sent a claim since the beginning of January and I’ve not even had an acknowledgment that it has been received, talk less of being processed.  It’s impossible to reach the company by phone or email. It’s frustrating.

We used planet Earth Travel insurance for our parents. Great cover at a very good price.

Great service, so nice to be able to talk to a real person and not a machine! They were very helpful and talked me through all of my grandmas requirements to make sure she had exactly the cover she needed.  I will be using again, thank you Planet Earth!
