Pizzeria Rosso Pomodoro - Dominion Road

Seriously THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE HAD IN NEW ZEALAND! And yes, I tried lots of them including Umu pizza sorry guys Lots of tomato base, crispy light base, lots of cheese, basil Rosso Pomodoro pizza. My partner had pizza with bacon and blue cheese.. My mouth is watering as I type! We will be back! Also Happy hour from 5 to 7pm. Pizza + drink + chips for only $25!

Amazing range of pizza to choose from. I had a Rosso Pomodoro mozzarella, EVOO, basil and my partner got a Formaggi triple cheese. Deliciso! Fabulous staff! Very attentive and when we had a little more room but not quite a whole pizza we opted for a mozzarella side Will be back for sure

Tried them last week as someone recommended them and you know what, I would have not really thought of going their before because I thought it looked like the average kinda pizza place but it was actually so damn good!!!! I was so surprised and now can’t wait to go back! you can grab a loyalty card at cashier and I definitely will be stamping that card I tell you! We had the pizza pomodoro with buffalo mozzarella and EVOL and basil and the Nuvola buffalo mozza, potato, parma ham and parmesan cheese, I am French and in France we do have a few pizza with potato and cheese so I loved to see one like this on the menu! I know a lot of kiwi might think it’s weird but I think Pineapple is super weird on pizza ; haha so I really like the diversity on their menu, it’s super tasty, they have a big woodfire oven in the middle of the kitchen and just love their menu, so much choice !!!! We used to say Umu pizza were our Favs, now we like Umu and Pizzeria Rosso Pomodoro!

Two trips here now. Pizza is yum. Simple seating, we played UNO. Place is super busy with Uber eats. My new Fav pizza place in Auckland

Something happened with our favourite place to eat a good pizza. The quality wasn’t good and the ingredients seems to have changed. No rocket, plain flavour.

Used to be a lovely local place, not quite sure if I can say the same now. Either the chefs or management changed but there just isn't that homey Italian feel anymore to the restaurant or the pizza. It's still one of the better pizza places to visit, certainly recommend trying it but if you're looking for the old Pizzeria Rosso Pomodoro, those days are sadly gone.

We ordered buffalo chicken and one more pizza- both of the pizzas were cold as minus the travelling time of 4 minutes. When we went to the shop to receive our order, pizzas were not even in the hot case. However, buffalo chicken particularly was the worst pizza ever tried. I would never recommend anyone to order blunt as buffalo chicken pizza from pizzeria, as there were hardly chicken on it with 4 to 5 beans on top and a cold tasteless pizza.

First time ordering last night and on my second bite, broke a tooth !! Why would anyone put pipped olives on a pizza?? I rang to talk about it, and they said the Boss would ring me back, but he never did Shows how little they care about their customers !! The pizzas are also very average, and tasteless

Tremendously good pizzas. I lived in Italy for a while , so I am choosy about my pizzzas. And fair prices especially as I cant realistically finish one, so I always end up with a second take home meal too!

Went there around night time, and the pizza was dripping oil or something out the box very sloppy not sure if this is the style of pizza but I threw it away, mamagment was standard low energy could have taken contribution to the quality produced .
