Amazing rest point before Auckland, the views are incredible. Locals are very friendly. There is toilets just by the gates and it’s super quiet at night. People start to arrive in the morning around 8am to catch the ferry to the city I believe
I have been travelled in NZ for 4 weeks, this place is like a poem. No wind no rain crispy air warm winter sunlight and my campervane is the only one here parking overnight.
I LOVE THIS CARPARK!!!! The view out to see is captivating, leaving me with my jaw on the quality gravel of this amazing carpark. I would highly recommend coming to this carpark to park and just enjoy the view if you're in the area
We stayed here over night in a van beautiful views and super clean facilities. It doesn’t state anywhere that you can freedom camp but saw that you could on Wiki Camps App. Would defo recommend as super close to Auckland and very quiet.
Nice quite place to visit good scenery Harbour views of Auckland city in the distance restaurant near by.
