The umami-rich shiitake sauce brought a depth that echoed slow, thoughtful cooking — earthy, slightly smoky, and beautifully balanced against the meat’s natural sweetness.nnThen there were the crispy potatoes — golden, delicate on the outside yet cloud-soft within. Our group came up from Wellington and were genuinely impressed. The food was outstanding, the vibe was beautiful, and the team showed real manaakitanga warm, caring hospitality. 5 stars for Pine Harbour! Every dish was incredible. Wonderful and friendly service from everyone working at the restaurant. The XO Chilli Fried Rice was the star of the show - it will blow your mind! What a fantastic restaurant with great views! Doggies are allowed in the outside area!
Ohhh DELICIOUS food here. I had the cashew and prawn stir fry which was so tasty, fresh and perfect size. My husband ordered massaman curry. The iced chocolates are really special. I look forward to going back. The view of the marina is super pretty.
