Thank you for providing such a wonderful selection of organic foods and items the henna for example is amazing and stays in my hair so well. Ignore the negative comments from people* who won't wear a piece of cloth on their face for a short period of time to protect other people during a once in a 100 year pandemic. Will keep shopping here : . *I'm referring to people who don't want to wear a mask and claim they are "exempt" rather than the small number of people with genuine exemptions.
Remarkable collection of loose organic food. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help you with your needs. There is also a nice collection of organic flour, you can enjoy trying new healthy food recipes. Highly recommend.
Great for bulk food items, their loose leaf tea range is really affordable and variable. But staff are known to be super unfriendly and have an elite-ist aura to them.
Best wholefoods I've ever come across, out of the many places I've lived. Treat yourseld to a Piko Bowl. Visiting and shopping here is a nice weekly ritual of my partners and mine.
A great selection. The best in town. But the staff are EXTREMELY unhelpful. Won't answer basic questions when you need help and seem irritated to be asked for assistance.
Piko is the best! Great prices, great products, great team. It’s a tough time to be a small shop, and they’re doing their absolute best to make sure to be as inclusive as possible by offering to do online orders, phone orders, or other options, while still keeping their staff members and other shoppers safe. Not to mention the best brownies and muffins ever. So much love for Piko!
This shop discriminates people and support the Medical Apartheid System so I will not be buying anyhing from this shop any longer , there is many alternatives and options if you want organic veggies in and around Christchurch that do not Discriminate people based on medical status . Highly Overpriced for the smallest of things . Start growing your own organic veggies people ,share heirloom seeds and let's not depend in shops like this that are a shame as they don't support Human Rights ,Freedom of Choice or Body Autonomy. I will be telling All of my friends and family .
I love shopping at Piko. The selection of foods is amazing, the vibe is homely. Staff is always super helpful and know their stuff. My favourite is the bulk section where prices are usually cheaper than the packaged version. I often bump into friends which makes the experience even more pleasant.
I have been shopping at Piko for 31 years, as I'm vegan. I was, as others, not allowed to shop without a mask even though I have an exemption card. Tried to reason to no avail, "it is our store and we make our own policies" was the attitude. A senior Piko member told my partner, who was in the store with a mask, "if your husband comes to the store again I will call the police for trespassing!" It is of alarming concern that Piko members have embraced discriminating and policing attitudes when they are in the business of alternative thinking and health. Will never shop there again and wish them all the best in alienating as many customers, as they want.
My favorite place to buy organics in Christchurch. Great diversity of products, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I love knowing that I am spending my money for a non-profit trust that supports charity projects and truly cares about environmental values!
