This school doesn't get enough credit. Went here from 2018-2020, miss it every single day. My sister's there now :nPlenty of opportunities for a public school- if I recall correctly, there's a French Club and Kids' LitQuiz.nFacilities do need some upgrading though, but expected of a public school. Most of the teachers I've known have retired, all of them are the most encouraging and supportive people I know. Great memories here, but recommend the government put more money into funding these schools- they have even greater potential.

The toilets at Bucklands Beach Intermediate School are nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the most nauseating sight imaginable—poop smeared all over the walls, sliding down in horrifying streaks. It's even on the ceiling, as if it defies gravity. The toilet seats? Covered in the same filth, as though nobody has even attempted to clean them for months. To make matters worse, there are school uniforms mysteriously stuck to the toilet seats, as if someone used them to wipe up the mess and then abandoned them there. It’s like stepping into a horror movie, only it’s real, and you’re living it every time you have to use the bathroom.nnIf that wasn’t bad enough, the toilets are filled with random trash, as if they’ve become garbage cans instead of restrooms. There are chip packets floating inside the bowls, alongside soggy pieces of sandwich that look like they've been sitting there for days. It’s beyond unsanitary; it’s revolting. You wouldn’t believe that a place like this exists in a school, but somehow it does. And no matter how badly you need to go, using these toilets is a battle between your bladder and your gag reflex.nnThe floor is another disaster. It’s drenched in pee, so much so that it feels like wading through an ocean of urine. There’s no safe place to step, no dry spot to rest your feet. Every time you take a step, your shoes get soaked, and the smell of ammonia is so overpowering it stings your eyes and makes you want to run as fast as you can. But there's no escape, because even the walls are brown and stinky, and just standing there is unbearable.nnAll I want is to poop in peace, like a normal person. But with the walls literally coated in waste, and the floors flooded with pee, it's impossible to even think about relaxing for a moment. Every time I step into that bathroom, I feel like I’m walking into a biohazard zone, and all I can think about is how fast I can get out without touching anything. It’s honestly traumatizing.nnBucklands Beach Intermediate’s toilets are not just dirty—they’re beyond filthy, an assault on the senses that no one should have to experience. It’s a health hazard, a breeding ground for bacteria, and frankly, a disgrace. No student, or staff member for that matter, should have to deal with this. It's time for urgent action to fix this mess, because these conditions are unacceptable.

What a fantastic place for new entrants. They seem to have walking school bus so that kids can have a work out instead of being dropped off. There used to be parents etc writing numbers of cars dropping g kids off on the driveway. Maybe a good idea to park safely far away. Make your little walk it and get a bit of exercise and fresh air.
