Very taste dinner. Love the ribs Juicy and tasty. Service was very good even prepared lemon water and hand wipe for consumers to clean their hand after the heavy meal. The cheese ball is well done with light seasoning. The chutney is real good to consume with the cheese ball. Beer is awesome quality as well. Can't complain. 10 out of 10.
It's a popular bar and eating place. A lot of live sports screens, seating is pretty well spaced. Great beers on tap. I found the pork ribs to be pretty lean but tasty enough. My wife's steak and chips was nice.Food: 3/5
This place offers the classic kiwi pub / bar experience with great service and really yummy classic kiwi pub grub. I had the pork belly which was absolutely delicious. My wife had the open steak sandwich has a full size piece of steak which was also delicious. For anyone unfamiliar with this style of food, it is designed to offer a generous portion, with the meat being the star of the show. There are no fancy spices or complicated side dishes or sauces. Just really deliciously seasoned and extremely well executed food. It has great beer on tap as well.
We had just finished walking thru the Rotorua Night Market and decided to have dinner here. The front of the restaurant was brightly lit with fairy lights around the large tree in front and called attention to the classic building where the restaurant is. We didn't have a booking and was lucky to get in as it was still early in the evening. We ordered the special lamb shanks and the pork belly. Food, drinks and service was good! Definitely recommended pub for dining and drinks.
A charming bar with a bit of history in the heart of Rotorua. There were a lot of vegetarian options but the vegan options are more sparsely labelled and I had to ask to get confirmation. Luckily the waiter was very helpful and was more than happy to help me all the kitchen. The food came out fantastic and we especially enjoyed the vegan burgers and the mint mocktail. The restaurant was very busy on the night we visited but they were very gracious and gave us a table in the garden.
Very popular place, always 90%+ full, do need to reserve before coming. Nice atmosphere with live music band at weekend? sorry, not sure we love the yummy meals a lot
Best fish and chips in NZ so far. The price is a bit high but the food is really good. It came real fast, it was delicious and the portion was more than enough. Fresh and hot food with live fire pit and lots of customers means only one thing. We are coming back :Food: 5/5
Best vegetarian burger I've ever had! Full of flavour, hot, saucy, 2 patties, fresh lettuce and tomato while still being able to bite it and hold it without it falling apart. Cool ambiance - a pub with nice decor, friendly staff and fast service
Popped in for Brunch and wow what a great place, fabulous service, delightful meals I ordered Beer battered fish & Chips with perfect side salad, hubby ordered the Lamb burger. Both meals were exceptional. Will definitely be returning.
Lunch service was a little lacking but the food and beer was VERY good. Highly recommend the harissa chicken salad and the Reverb beer which has a heart warming story behind it. Cheers!
