Award winning Dutch/ Kiwi style bakery in Picton. We have freshly baked sourdough Breads, Kiwi style pies, wholesome sandwiches and freshly baked muffins

Story

Our original Bakery was opened in Picton in September 2001.
In the past we had regular stall at our local Farmer's Market, but now offer a range of those products in our store in Picton.
We are well known across the globe for or fantastic range of mouth watering products and European Style breads, with customers coming from all over the world to visit our Famous Bakery.

Stopped here for a quick lunch during our visit to Picton. It was a bit busy here, like the rest of Picton, due to numerous cruise ship passengers being in town. We got three pies and two cans of drink for 26 New Zealand dollars. The staff were friendly, the pies tasted nice.Food: 5/5
A delicious experience! We had a bacon & egg pie, and a mince & cheese pie for breakfast - both with a good amount of filling and perfectly flaky/chewy pastry. We also had yesterday's sandwiches to take on a walk for lunch- the bread was still soft and there was a generous amount of ingredients. So good, highly recommend for anyone passing through Picton!
Great bakers about 5 minutes walk from harbour. Extensive selection, fair prices, decent quality and sized rolls well, BIG! actually, good coffee! Seating area outside. We’ll be back!Food: 5/5
Very good prices for Picton. Pies were exceptional with light, crispy, buttery pastry, and good sized chunks of tender steak. Slices were great, and my scroll had good flavor. Nice outdoor seating area with only a few tables so expect to share lovely way to meet other travelers. Highly recommended and would definitely return.!
We revisited this yummy bakery with friendly staff before our ferry return North. While queing to board the ferry in our hunger we discovered our pizzas were missing. A phone call resulted in these being hand-delivered to us .... what a super duper service This made our day... Thank you soo very much. Highly recommend this bakery, the women & husband!!!!!
This bakery sure lives up to its reputation, balancing very tasty food with quality prices. We purchased two of their quality pies and 3 sweet things for roughly $20. Both pies were super tasty, well better than most competitors at the same price. Their traditional Dutch food, while sparse also tasted particularly good. Service was a amazing and plenty of selections to be had.
Came across this on our walk down to the shops. Really good pie. My partner had bacon and egg pie and I had steak and cheese pie. Mocha was really nice too
First time we came by they were closed already. Went back early morning the next day. Bought some pies and bread. I generally prefer crusty pies whereas theirs is a little more bodied. The filling is running when cut and flavourful.
Best custard squares in NZ! Great service always busy when the ferry arrives but that’s Picton. Great bread too Parking: Free parking on site and paid just across the road
Nice servers, quality food. Chicken and camembert pie was $6.50 and delicious. Custard slice was $4.80 and great too.Food: 5/5
