Award winning Dutch/ Kiwi style bakery in Picton. We have freshly baked sourdough Breads, Kiwi style pies, wholesome sandwiches and freshly baked muffins

Story

Our original Bakery was opened in Picton in September 2001.
In the past we had regular stall at our local Farmer's Market, but now offer a range of those products in our store in Picton.
We are well known across the globe for or fantastic range of mouth watering products and European Style breads, with customers coming from all over the world to visit our Famous Bakery.

Lovely bakery. Would definitely go again when passing by
Superb fresh food with slightly frizzled staff when we arrived - they were getting slammed with customers and a queue out the door. Bought a heap of stuff and all of it delicious.
Great quality bakery food - the pies were really tasty totally recommend the curry mince pie and the pastries were delicious. The staff were super friendly and helped to give suggestions too. A must-stop in your in the area!
Stopped in for a steak n cheese pie but saw all the pies had been sold out, spoke to the lovely lady behind the counter and told her it was our last day before heading back to Auckland, she then handed us a free baguette and a bag of other yummy pastries, bought some other goodies aswell, thank you.
Stopped in for a fresh pie and a sweet treat after five days dancing in a dusty paddock over New Year. Store was crammed full of mostly rude and mannerless tourists but the staff were efficient and remained polite. Food was excellent for a good price. Will definitely be back!
A great variety on offer here, pies, sammies, bread rolls a huge selection of sweet slices, Danish, doughnuts etc. We tried a mince pie which was delicious, a sandwich which had plenty of fillings, and a doughnut again delicious. All really fresh and well made.
Bacon and cheese Sausage rolls are a must try! But get in early they go fast. Want to try something different go for the double bangers sausage roll.
by far the best bakery in NZ - loved the bread and their pies
Nice little bakery. Lots of fresh baked things. Would of loved that they could jave almond croissants.
