Picton MTB Trails is part of the Marlborough Mountain Bike Club.If you are looking for Single track to bike you have come to the right place.

Story

Picton MTB Trails is a group of mountain bike enthusiasts who help built and maintain the Mountain bike trails on the Victoria Domain here in Picton NZ.Most of the existing tracks at present are suitable for intermediate/advanced riders.The new Kanuka mtb trail which leads out to the snout that has just been completed is suitable for all ages to ride.Slowly we are adding more trails to the area.
The trails are here for everyone to bike on and enjoy.

Su h a nice walk with many nice viewpoints. You don't have to walk too much, 30min will be enough to have great view of the Queen Charlotte sound.
Nice walk with many lookout points so you can go as far as you like without needing to go the full length. Note that the road is one way, so enter via Sussex St. Google maps doesn’t seem know it is one way so if it brings you around the other way then you’ll need to loop around to the entrance.
Scenic, easily accessible, not crowded. Low spots can get muddy after rain. Need to do a better job on maintenance.
The beginning of the track from the car park is quite exposed/sunny and gets shady once you get to the mountain. There is a nice view from the Queen Charlotte Viewpoint, it takes 2hr return from the car park if you are only travelling to this lookout it will be a longer walk if you go to the Snout Track Head. There is a toilet at the Queen Charlotte Viewpoint but no tap to refill water.
Nice views, even just from the car park. Worth a quick drive up, even if you're not keen on the walk!

Good walk with a few stop off points to view the sound.
It’s an ok-ish walk and the view you get rewarded with at the end is really nice. But that’s about it: the view at the end. The walk itself can get quite slippery when it’s wet we had some showers during the walk so make sure you have good footwear.
Great quick walk, and a few spots to stop and get some great pics. Track was easy to walk but would Imagin it would be slippery after a good rain.
Beautiful walk, does have a few up hill moments but its worth it. Beautiful view at the end.
