Was finally able to try their pies after following them on Facebook for months. I was not disappointed. We got the classic pies to start with and they were delicious. They had the perfect filling to pastry ratio. We will definitely come back for the other flavours and we have to try the baked goods next time as well. Good service, and they have indoor seats and nice outdoor seating as well. Arrived here around 1pm and there were plenty of seats available.

The pies here are not bad. I enjoyed the mince & cheese, steak/cheese/jalapeño, and chicken/cranberry/brie. The award-winning items didn’t wow me the Vegan Korma Pie was a bit bland and the custard square was dense and more floury than creamy., but the weekly specials and cream-filled donuts are definitely worth coming back for.

I don't often eat pies, but their pies do win me over. I tried the award-winning korma pie, steak, japeno& cheese pie and steak&blue cheese pie. All of them were yum. Icecreams were nice too. Generous portion and some creative flavours.

Sunny late Saturday afternoon, took some family friends for a walk to Fitzroy. Stopped here for gelato. The doors were open, staff were out back. A very shy young man served us, after bit of wait. We ordered single scoops in cups. For price tag $6.20 each we all received the very tiniest single scoop, so tiny that it didn’t even fill the cup and easily rolled around when cup swirled. And signs are all misleading claiming gelato, it was actually ice cream. Extremely disappointing experience. And certainly rip off pricing.nnIn contrast at places like ‘Public Catering’ the gelato filled cup is so generous for the price that you can end up sharing between two. I would head there instead to get significantly better value for money spent. And service with a smile.

Just tried the Vegan Steak & Cheese and the Vegan Lamb, Mint & Feta Wooooooah these pies are sooo damn good! No wonder they won the Vegan Pie Awards this year Absolutely top quality pies, so saucy, amazing pastry, fantastic taste! On the pricey side but all Vegan food tends to be.. Will be back for more!
