Have I picked the wrong one? I regret my decision to purchase these pies. My husband and I were eager to try these highly recommended pies in town. We chose the minced and steak, cheese and jalapeños. Upon returning home, I cut them in half and opened them up to check the contents. To my disappointment, I found only a couple chunks of meat and the pie was more than half empty. Too much pastry and no meat. Despite having my share, I was still hungry. So, we won’t be coming back for these again.

This amazing slice of heaven always satisfies. With their delicious donuts, pastries and breads it has variety for all. The real winner, DOUBLE CHEESE and Mince. The mince is SO flavourful and reminds me of my nans gravy mince. True happiness in my belly.

Just tried the Vegan Steak & Cheese and the Vegan Lamb, Mint & Feta Wooooooah these pies are sooo damn good! No wonder they won the Vegan Pie Awards this year Absolutely top quality pies, so saucy, amazing pastry, fantastic taste! On the pricey side but all Vegan food tends to be.. Will be back for more! Thank you for having so many Vegan options

Was finally able to try their pies after following them on Facebook for months. I was not disappointed. We got the classic pies to start with and they were delicious. They had the perfect filling to pastry ratio. We will definitely come back for the other flavours and we have to try the baked goods next time as well. Good service, and they have indoor seats and nice outdoor seating as well. Arrived here around 1pm and there were plenty of seats available.

This shop is worth making the trip for if you're ever going to New Plymouth. Despite the closing time being early afternoon, they still had a large selection of both sweet and savoury treats.nnLarge is an understatement of their cookies as you can see from the photo with the spoon as comparison, it was at 12cm wide and at least 2cm thick with many flavours to choose from.nTheir custard square is the seller of the shop and to my surprise, the custard part was just like creme brulee!nnTheyalso have a variety of pies with gourmet fillings and also gelato. The shop is large with both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit hard as it's situated on the main road near traffic lights so it may be better to park a little further and walk up.
