This was a very interesting tour. And it was absolutely free of charge. The tour guide, Rachel, was knowledgeable, with a dry sense of humour. We didn’t know peanuts weren’t nuts, but part of the legume family. I wish them good luck with growing their own peanuts, up North. Hopefully soon, they won’t have to import their main ingredient. The tastings, at the end were yummy too. This tour comes highly recommended.
Our family LOVES peanut butter, and we really enjoyed our tour. Tour was free but we needed to book in advance. Lots of onsite parking. Nice that you can see the operations and learn more about the process. They add in some fun trivia and activities. The kids got to make their own peanut butter, and my daughter won a tub of Pics.
My Pic’s peanut butter tour was awesome. Frankie she introduced us how the brand achieved this good product to the worldwide. The office looks very modern design, with beautiful cafe, factory full of the aromatic of roasted peanuts, I guess staffs must be happy work here.
Good place for kids and adults to spend a couple of hours. The visit is free, but you have to book it in advance. Usually, it’s full during holiday time, so book in advance. Kids can enjoy a fun activity of grinding their own peanuts. Peanut and honey tasting is available at the end of the tour. You can also shop for different varieties of fresh peanuts at a discounted price.
This is an opportunity to learn the quirky history of the founder and the story of how he got into the peanut butter business. It’s fun, informative and informal enough that the whole family will enjoy it. You get to gaze onto the factory floor from a mezzanine, taste some product, and learn about roasting, grinding, and packaging. It doesn’t get five stars because it’s a little dated and not as interactive as it could be.
