A Wellington institution that has amazing fresh made food. Reasonable priced, good ingredients, nice selection and options. The Lamb Shish is so good.
Worst falafel I’ve ever eaten in my life. Wet uncooked microwaved. Flies in food storage areaRecommended dishesFalafel Plate
Great food, laid back atmosphere.Food: 5/5
We had chicken and mutton shawarma The taste was nice and delicious just wat we were looking for but the price was a lil extra keeping in mind there wasn't alot of optional filling inside or any sides with the shawarma. I would go there again though to try other stuffs cz the taste was good Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Yes Parking: Street parking available
I ate two kebabs here in one sitting and regret nothing
Food great, service grumpy. Delightful cinnamon in the falafel.
Ordered a Babaganoush pita, but it tasted off! The babaganoush mix was old and fermenting, tasted pretty bad. The manager replaced it with another item, but I didn't like getting served food that had gone off... other than that, seems like a nice enough place.
The food here is outstanding and authentically Lebanese. I grew up eating Lebanese food made by my Lebanese immigrant grandmother and other family and there is nowhere else you can get Lebanese food like this in Wellington eg kibbeh balls, Lebanese spinach and feta pies, Lebanese style vine leaves. Other Middle Eastern food in Wellington is generic and westernised. The hummus is the best I have ever tasted and I have travelled throughout the Middle East. I expect the negative reviews are from people who are expecting food like you get from generic kebab shops.
Good honest food, always enjoy any meal I've had there. I think Lebanese food is very nice and the married couple and their family work there, it has been a unique place for along time in Wellington.
Was about to buy a falafel but the grumpy lady running the front service and kitchen wasn't wearing a mask. I said I'd changed my mind because she wasn't wearing a mask and left. Disappointing that the restaurant doesn't take Covid seriously
