Great selection of craft beers to suit all palettes - if you can't decide or don't know what you might like, grab a tasting rack and ask the bar tender for their recommendations based on what you normally like - you won't be disappointed! Pizzas were exceptional and very generously topped with quality meat, veggies and cheese. Atmosphere is casual and enjoyable, and the garden bar is well set up for couples, families and even the dog. Highly recommended to anyone wanting good vibes, good beer and good food! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza option available Kid-friendliness: Family friendly setting Parking: Plenty of on-site parking
The Meat Lovers pizza was good! I liked that the toppings weren’t piled on thick and that the base was thin. Overall good pizza but personally the edges were a bit too crunchy for me : The ciders were nice too but I preferred the sweeter Oatmeal Cookies Cider I think that’s the flavour compared to the Sticks and Berries again I don’t remember the official flavour name. The indoor and outdoor seating layout is nice and I enjoyed being able to see the brewing process. It was a little hot though since by the looks of it they don’t have fans or aircon and it smelt a little too yeasty for my liking. But overall I really liked it here and the customer service was great! The person was super friendly and a joy to talk to :D
A gem out towards the main road that leads to KeriKeri or closer to Paihia township or Haruru falls. Phat house brews their own beer and a great selection of beers, great stuff and a friendly atmosphere. Food excellent setting and seatings perfect & mixed selection of DJ' gives a variety to suit patrons that visit... DJ West gives it 10/10
Loved this place. Heard mixed reviews so just goes to show you need to experience this yourself. Pulled pork pizza fantastic. Daughter is gluten free so did the gluten free base which normally I hate. This one was great fluffy yet crispy. Now to the beer only had the dark ale my preference and I could not fault. Light in flavour similar to English style. Could not fault the service. My wife thought road noise was a bit loud but as I said to her if we were not driving by we would not have stopped, so silver lining. Big 5 stars from us.
Phathouse brewery is just out of Paihai. Friendly stuff, great pizza's and most important great beer. Check them out Vegetarian options: Veggie pizzas available Kid-friendliness: Large open area. I don't remember seeing and play equipment Parking: Plenty of parking out front Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and eccessable
This place is awesome! Fabulous setting, staff, brews and food. It is our favorite spot in the area so far. We are well traveled and this place had it all going on. Truly authentic. Being from Canada we appreciate beer well made and Phat’s beers and cider were exceptional. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Parking: Lots of parking Dietary restrictions: They handled our dietary restrictions with ease.

Go to this brewery it’s awesome! Great beer, super friendly hosts, great tunes, awesome garden bar with games for the kids. Had a great afternoon. Very chilled
Quite an intense atmosphere, wouldn't recommend if you're going for nice pizza and beer. The "DJ" was intense and more of a club atmosphere. Maby call ahead and see if they have a DJ playing.. One bonus was the frooze ball table
