Story

Standing up for abused pets and no longer silently disagreeing with the pathetically soft sentences given to animal abusers.
The last straw for me was when a grown man beat a 5 month old puppy about the head with a hammer causing horrific injuries, pain and suffering. It had to be put down by a vet. And all because he wanted to teach his son a lesson for not having lunch ready.
I started a petition that reached over 40,000 signatures showing the huge support for ensuring this offender received a decent punishment. He was sentenced 2 years in jail.

I am not prepared to let this cause drop. I will campaign for stronger sentences including better guidelines for judges to ensure the sentences imposed are a very real deterrent to others.
