Welcome to our farm 20-acres of dog Disneyland. We offer daycare and farm stays, we also pick up/drop off!

Story

We are a boutique service specialising in daycare for our Ponsonby clients in town and at our 20 acre farm. We also offer lodging, we are not a kennel, doggies sleep inside like they do at home and their are no cages, kennels or lock down times. We also offer grooming and training. We are all about the love not about the numbers.

Pets and Pats are just wonderful! My little Cleo has been going to the farm since she was six months old so the better part of 2 years - we had tried a couple of other daycares before settling for Pets and Pats - They have given Cleo so much confidence, Ang and the team treat her as if she is one of their own but not just when she’s there - When Cleo has been off unwell they would check in on her and drop off care packages making not only her but also me feel cared for and supported. I always know she has the best time while she is there, when she is picked up she is always so excited to go does twirls and squeaks in excitement before bounding out the door and is so worn out when she comes home that she snuggles up on the couch - If your ever considering a daycare for you little fur baby absolutely can’t recommend P&P enough!
I cannot recommend Pets and Pats enough. Being first time fur parents, we care so much about our little Charlie and where he goes. Pets and Pats are constantly AMAZING to deal with. Charlie gets picked up by the "pup bus" which he waits at the door for in the mornings. He gets sooo excited when it arrives - that tells me everything I need to know. He absolutely loves going to the farm as he gets to run around with all his friends. We really like how they categorise dogs in size, age and energy levels so we know Charlie won't be bowled by bigger dogs or step on smaller ones accidentally. The whole team are friendly and really easy to communicate with. I have 100% trust in everyone involved and know Charlie is in safe hands from the moment that he gets picked up, to when he gets back home at the end of the day
Absolutely LOVE Pets & Pats Team. They have looked after my two girls for over a year now. The staff are so lovely and the bus drop off is so convenient. Our girls are knackered when they get home both pointer x that need a lot of exercise!! The grounds are a dogs paradise and the team absolutely love and care for all the dogs. Owner Ang is lovely and has helped us out when in a major pickle several times!! Our girls have also stayed over weekends many times. Any review which degrades the care or cleanliness of the dogs or property is absolutely rubbish. Our girls come home cleaner than when the left! The property is fully secure and wonderful. I have found no issues with communication with the team - in fact they put up with my slack communication so well. Highly Recommend x Thank you team we are so grateful for your care of our girls x
We absolutely love pets and pats and how much it helps us out with our energetic puppy. Our fur baby Saint has been going for nearly 2 months and it’s been amazing. It’s amazing for us because the day after he’s at doggy daycare he’s always knocked out the day after which gives us a nice little break. The team are AMAZING there, one of the ladies puts him in the car after his long day running around at daycare and tells me how good he’s been and what he’s been doing which is really nice to hear and puts my mind at ease knowing he’s socialising really well with other dogs. We love how there’s a pool there because we don’t have one at home and letting him off leash at the beach is a bit scary since he’s still a puppy so having him learn the swim there is really helpful. Sending him to daycare has been really good because he’s also not sitting at home waiting for us to come home from work he’s out and about running around with all his friends. Would definitely recommend!
I honestly cannot recommend Pets and Pats highly enough. If you speak to any of the staff there it is instantly clear how passionate they are about dogs! Our dog, George, sits at the window looking down the drive waiting for the bus to come and pick him up and he is always SO excited to go! Every day they post photos of the pups so you can see all of the activities they've been up to! We honestly wouldn't even dream of sending George anywhere else, we trust them 100% with our little four-legged friend and are so grateful for everything they do <3
Nico loves going to Pets n Pats, it's his Happy Place. He always has a fun day and I know that he is well looked after. When he arrives home he is very happy and runs around the house like crazy dog.
The whole Pets and Pats experience is hands down the best! There is no one else that I would trust to care for our dog. I’ve been a client with Angela and the team for years now and the love, care and attention that our Lab receives along with great fresh air, socialising and exercise is incomparable elsewhere. Our Lab is treated as if she were their own family and I never have to worry about her when I’m busy. The team are always attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating to her needs. I know she is in great hands and she always has the time of her life! She can not wait to go out socialising and is so much happier and settled after her day out with the team and her dog friends! Always recommend Pets and Pats to family and friends - the Best!
We feel so incredibly lucky that Lolly is part of the Pets and Pats family. We normally find it so hard to go away and relax because we’re worried about Lolly. It’s so nice to know that at Pets and Pats Lolly is loved and cared for just as she would be at home and that she is having such an amazing time with all the dogs and the Pets and Pats team! The team upload so many photos and are very responsive to all messages / emails! You are never left wondering what your dog is up to! Every time Lolly comes home from Pets and Pats she is happy and goes straight to sleep - we just know she has had the most incredible time. I couldn't recommend Pets and Pats highly enough!
