It's clean, has a clean toilet when the station is open, and is warm inside the building. There is an underpass to cross the tracks, and an overpass if that doesn't feel secure. There has been a significant increase in the amount of car parking over the past two years, and now it's ample.

The ticket office closes at 1:30PM on weekdays and is closed the whole day during the weekends. The train's conductors can sell tickets but they only accept cash.

It's a train station, not that exciting really. It does have a loo and a ticket office, so better than some on the Hutt Valley Line.
