Great collection of pretty much anything you need. Arts & Crafts / DIY / Gifts / Costumes / Fabrics - You would struggle not to find what you need as the store itself is quite large. The staff are friendly and helpful in pointing you to the right section. Great business to have in the Porirua region.

Pete's Emporium has something for everyone! It doesn't matter if you know what you want or you are just browsing. I am determined to set aside some time to explore the whole place next time I visit.
Pete's has everything, and you're guaranteed to walk out with more than you came for. There is some cheap tat but also lots of brands - Victorinox knives, Sculpey modelling clay etc. Great sewing section, too.
A treasure trove of everything you ever wanted, needed, or didn't even know existed. From hardware widgets to art supplies, fishing tackle, and haberdashery. Researching online I found a hardware product I needed for $78 at a well known supplier. Pete's had exactly the same product for $48. Whilst scruffy around the edges, this gem of a place has everything, and I mean everything, under one roof at extremely reasonable prices.
Cheap materials, good staffs helpful, nice set up. I buy all my sewing stuff in this place. Great location great value and so far I can buy everything I need.
Great place to shop!! The range of products is just damn awesome. Always stop by when I'm in Wellington!!
All we wanted were goodie bags for our movie night. The selection was outrageous and I had difficulty making a decision. The staff were really helpful and made great suggestions. Totally distracted by all the other sparkly stuff they have - be warned!
Very helpful staff. Gave me a better way to do a project I am doing. Very knowledgeable and a Great range and variety of items in store.
Lots of dress up options in a range of qualities.
