Came in to get some gear and advice to help get the kids into some fish off the wharf. Great advice, good gear without trying to sell me expensive stuff I didn’t need. Topped it off by giving me some free bait. Thanks guys - some happy kids with a good talley of spotties and even a little blue cod all swam away to get bigger

Today I visited Pete lamb store And I want to say Huge TNX to Simon That had all the right knowledge and patients to show me and explain about fishing equipment and how to tight knots. I will come back for sure
If your new to Wellington and looking for advice about the local fishing areas Pete lamb fishing shop is the place to go. Pete and the team are really friendly and happy to share there knowledge. Simon is a top guy who I have dealt with most he is always very welcoming and will always steer you in the right direction.

Helpful knowledgeable staff, showed us some good spots. Edited review, initially lower because some hire gear broke, but I realise now it was likely mostly my fault, and I should have checked the gear anyway. Anyways several mates have since shared great experiences, so I'm changing the review. Looking forward to summer and their excellent charters..
