The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour.nThe coffee was excellent too — smooth, rich, and made just right.
My meal was disappointing. Others in group looked much nicer. Sadly didn't get a photo mine was from the breakfast menu. Avocado on grain toast with poached eggs beetroot humus feta and cherry tomatoes. Lovely eggs but they were on top of the Avocado which was spread like butter on the toast. Result soggy. One cherry tomato cut into quarters and never found the feta! Hummus was nice.nWorst aspect was the outdoor area. Full of weeds and very neglected. Made worse by the name of the cafe. Won't be returning any time soon.
Spacious cafe both inside and outside. The food was quite delicious.
The omelette with salmon, spinach and cheese was one of the best omelette I’ve eaten. So much flavour and cooked perfectly. Hubbys BLAT was ok he said. Service was great too. It’s a shame about the outside area, it obviously used to be a great space but is either no longer part of the lease or they just don’t want to maintain it. It would have been nice to sit outside in the sun as it gets quite loud inside when full.
We were looking for somewhere we've not been to for brunch, and I found this place. I never realized it was a cafe but thought it was a plant store.nnFirst of all, the place is cute with outdoor seating and a spacious indoor area. The menu was extensive, with lots of options for food and drinks. They have matcha here, but also a selection of other specialty drinks as well. We got a rose and berry latte just to try.nnThe rose latte didn't evoke rose a lot, but I tasted cinnamon or star anis or some sort of spice a bit more. The berry latte was similar to a berry flavoured milkshake, quite sweet but pleasant. The lattes were served in a quirky cone-shaped cup with its own little stand.nnThe food portions were very big and generous, I think we could have shared some dishes, because we had a lot of leftovers after the meal. The fried chicken waffles were pretty good, the chicken had some spices reminiscent of Indian flavours; very crispy on the outside and succulent enough on the inside.nnThe pulled pork burger had a tiny bit of heat to it, I enjoyed it but it was served on a chopping board barely wide enough for it, so a quarter of the contents ended up on the table.nnThe staff were very friendly, and it had a nice environment. Overall a very lovely experience, I would return again if I'm in the area.
