We had our cupcakes from this place for our wedding as gifts for our guests. The service provided was excellent. Price is good also, and last but not least the flavour of the cupcakes was very very good. I have tried the strawberry and the blueberry one. The strawberry reminds me of the strawberry pocky flavour which is my favourite. The blueberry is also very unique. The right amount of sweetness and also we were allow to pick our printed design on top. Very happy with this choice.
Absolutely adorable young cashier with her soft polite and friendly greetings. The cupcakes are packaged in adorable little takeaway boxes. They are extreeeeeeeemely moist and the frosting is pretty good. $5.5 for one. Good for the occasional snack, but they are just cupcakes, so they don’t taste too amazing.
Petal Cupcakes in Newmarket have a great range of colourful and different flavoured cupcakes. They are very appealing to the eyes and lovely as a gift in a nice box. You can buy in a 4, 6 or 12 pack and save a bit, otherwise it's like $5 each. They also come in mini size 12 packs in one flavour only
Usually cupcakes just look pretty with thick tasteless icing. BUT Petal Cupcakes icing is the icing of my cupcake. The icing taste just right, not overpowering , yet simple& pretty. The cupcake iself is moist & flavoursome. Making great gift for friends. My fav flavour is always Black Dorris Plum. Great service . The shop itself is clean& neat I have been coming here for years
Amazing cupcakes and fantastic service when I ordered a number of corporate cupcakes to be sent to clients only hours before their bakery opened on the day of delivery. They were all delivered first thing that morning and looked beautiful. Rani did a fabulous job of assisting me with the process of ordering a bulk order. I will definitely use this service again on a regular basis. Thank you!
I have tried almost all the flavors including the vegan options and they are amazing. Absolutely worth the price you pay for each and every bite. And the adorable takeaway box makes it a perfect gift item. The cashier at the front she might be the one who bakes them, I forgot to ask her is so polite and friendly. The Top Cake it's a biggg cupcake is tasty and a perfect birthday gift if you are celebrating it with only few people. My wife loved it and we bought another one after few weeks. Cons: it's hard to find parking in Newmarket close to the shop. But absolutely worth parking somewhere else and walking to get those amazing cupcakes.
Beautiful cupcake shop in the Middle of the heart of Newmarket. Amazing taste, flavours and presentation. They provide same-day delivery of cupcakes all around Auckland. I highly recommend this place for any occasion

Whilst meandering down Teed Street in Newmarket, I fortuitously discovered Petal Cupcakes! I had previously been fortunate enough to get to sample one of their mini cupcakes at work from a surprise congratulatory gift box for a co-worker. I felt like a little child gazing in awe and amazement at the display cabinet of beautiful cupcakes of varying colours and flavours. Finally, I arduously managed to chose a selection of flavours including salted caramel, black Doris plum, vanilla bean and espresso cupcake to take away in a gorgeous Petals carry box. The cupcakes are large, moist and perfectly decorated and flavoured with a wide range to choose from and you can order online too! Highly recommended!
