Once upon a time there was a neurotic mad dog owner who wanted to take her pets with her across the world. She rang Pet Transport daily, and often more frequently with questions, queries, reassurances and information which were always answered with patience and cheerfulness I cannot recommend Pet Transport highly enough for their professional skill and true caring support. Especially as my dogs were travelling to the Middle East with a number of additional requirements for entry. They made me feel my dogs were the most important animals in the world and I felt so reassured knowing they were being well cared for. Pet Transport will always be my first choice of pet transport.
We flew our 12 cats all the way from NZ to France in between organizing moving house and our 7 months baby who was in and out of the hospital all the time. We've been through a stressful time starting our life again but George and Leslie and their team made everything went smoothly for us. We even have 2 old sick cats and they believe in them enough to work around the clock, days and nights, for them to follow the rest of our family. They helped us believe in it too and gave us strength to move forward. They are meticulous, organized, passionate and we felt we couldn't have found a better company to help us go through this journey!
How do you get one sensitive Golden Retriever from New Zealand to Heathrow whilst dealing with an even more sensitive worried to death owner ? Ring Pet transport NZ and ask for George and Leslie. Wow they were amazing. Flawless every step of the way and never tiring of our constant worried questions and paranoia. I don't believe there is anyone better to look after your pets needs . It was a huge distance and from small details like the of size water bowl to the best airline to do the job they excelled. Thank you thank you. Abbie is now happily settled in the UK loving life!!
I never knew that I could suffer so much anxiety about my fur babies flying to Fiji. I kept telling myself it was only a three hour flight and I had to think about all the animals going so much further. In came Sarah and the team at Pet Transport NZ. I honestly don't know how I could have handled everything without their calm manner, regular communication and lovely talent in handling my three dogs and grumpy cat. Not only their assistance in NZ but also recommending a handling company in Fiji to take over once the flight had landed. Pet Transport NZ are professionals through and through. I wouldn't use any other company nor would I recommend any other company. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Hi Leslie and George It is wonderful to have our beautiful dog with us once again and, at times, we can barely believe he is finally with us. He has settled in very quickly and, according to his behaviour, dogs’ don’t suffer from jetlag as much as humans! He was almost the same old Oli when we collected him from Heathrow airport, though he was initially a bit subdued. He did recognise us and it wasn’t long before he was making those Welshie groans of pleasure as we hugged him and cried with joy – it was a rare old sight!. The staff were quite impressed with his crate and they were equally impressed that we managed to squeeze it into our Estima – and there it remains for now as Oli has seen quite enough of it for the time being. It’s a work of art! During the journey home Oli turned away from us protest? so we had the pleasure of looking at his backside for 3 hours. He did have a lovely long walk through an ancient forest en-route whilst we foraged mushrooms. A wander around Pets At Home was another stop so he could choose some new toys. He now lives with Mark and I in a 300 year old cottage on the edge of a small village in Dorset, surrounded by footpaths and bridleways. We hardly ever have to walk him on roads and we can traverse the fields to reach neighbouring villages and pubs. He has discovered pheasants along with a temporary lack of hearing/recall, and yesterday he had his first Dorset coast experience it’s only a 30 minute drive to the beach. In all, he is one happy doggy. Thank you very much for facilitating Oli’s journey to England. Communication has been first rate, and you have steered us through some rather turbulent waters at times. It is clearly obvious that you have great care for the welfare of pets’. We will certainly recommend your services to any other dog families. Enjoy the selection of photos! Kind regards Toni and Mark
I don’t even know where to begin because I don’t usually write reviews. But when you have had an exceptional experience, you really want everyone to know and this is one of those instances. I moved my little dog overseas and while it was an extremely stressful experience for me because of how much my dog matters to me, Pet Transport really really made it the best experience it can be. Gen is simply awesome and gives you really fabulous service, truly! She navigated every issue with my complex export given where my dog was going and went above and beyond. She was always incredibly responsive, in charge of the situation and very professional. Harry who took care of my dog at MPI appointments and boarded her on her aircraft on the last day was also such a kind soul. I cannot recommend Pet Transport and Gen and Harry enough. I can’t rate Pet Transport NZ highly enough. They have been incredible. I first approached them back in 2019 about flying my 3 cats from Auckland to Cape Town 2 Persians and one moggie, when my husband and I planned to move back home. There were multiple obstacles along the way which delayed us moving back - Emirates banning Persians and other snub-nosed breeds temporarily, Covid etc. Sarah and the team were fantastic throughout, and went above and beyond to get our kitties to South Africa as soon as spots opened up. The cats flew last week without any complications and all 3 are now home in South Africa, happy and settling in fine thanks to the excellent care provided by Pet Transport. I highly recommend their services.
Moving our cats from NZ to UK was never going to be as straight forward for us as it might be for other owners moving their pets overseas because one of the cats has a number of health problems, however, George and Leslie were both very helpful and great to deal with, so we are very grateful to them, as well as their animal handler who collected the cats from us in Auckland who added extra water containers to the cages. It was a huge relief to see how well the cats were when we picked them up. We were also very happy with the customs agent in London that Pet Transport recommended to us.
