Revisiting the aquatic center was a sheer delight! The vast swimming pools offer a spacious retreat, complemented by an incredibly affordable admission fee. Ample free parking adds convenience, making the experience even more enjoyable. Don't miss out on Friday promos – an extra treat to an already fantastic aquatic haven. Truly thrilled to be back!
Spa has no jets. Main pool is boring and never any lanes to use. Can't use therapy pool as always classes in there. Only good thing is the sauna is great. There's no gym or Cafe either. Te awamutu pools are far better.
i feel like suing this place. there is a unwarned drop in the main pool, my sister is a beginner swimmer and was unaware of this random as drop. she was drowning and the useless as “lifeguards” just stood there and watched while she was struggling to breathe and get out. even when she was asking for help and clearly literally drowning they did absolutely nothing to help her. i am beyond disappointed and disgusted by these absolutely useless teenagers who have been hired as lifeguards, they are just standing there watching people drown and doing nothing to do their job. Another lady that was at the pools had to come and help her instead of the actual lifeguards. how disrespectful is this behaviour. it was a young man wearing glasses that was a lifeguard and there was also a blonde girl. both absolutely useless. these kids need to be trained properly as people’s lives are at risk. Cambridge pool managers i hope you take some action towards these people who just watch people drown instead of helping them just because they don’t wanna get their clothes wet. she would’ve actually had died if it weren’t for the kind lady who helped her. how disappointing.
The toddler pools are great! Easy access to all 3. Non-slip surfaces are good. Fun waterplay area outside too. And family changerooms are spacious and clean. A brilliant afternoon there.
The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. We had heaps of fun and there is something for every age group. My toddler had a blast in the kiddy pool and the water was nice and warm. There's a coffee cart for drinks too. Will definitely go again.
