This is my second time at Pepe's. It was packed both times. Food was great and the quantity was huge. We could not finish it and had lots of too go boxes. Chips and salsa was free. They were too good . We ordered some hot wings and they were very hot . Calamari was good as well . Everything was good overall .
The menu had some amazing seafood options that I wasn't expecting from a Mexican restaurant. They had fried jalapeno calamari and seafood enchiladas. Even their Three-way burrito blew my expectations. Everything was seasoned perfectly too. Service was great, never had to ask for a refill of drinks or chips. Worth trying out.
The food was good, but not as flavorful as I expected. The chips were sort of thick for my liking, but I ate them nonetheless. Our waiter was nice, but at one point he left to go assist at the bar and it took him about 10 minutes to return. We are a patient bunch and things happen. He was also apologetic and that helps. I recommend the flour tortillas when ordering tacos, especially if you plan to have leftovers. The corn tortillas became super soft the next day.
WE LOVE Pepe's! Besides having great food, SEAN PAUL provided us with the absolute BEST customer service! Actually every staff member here during our visit was nice. And the restaurant is so cute! We would definitely recommend it!
Had the pleasure of having Felipe as our waiter whom provided excellent customer service, he was very polite, friendly, punctual and would ask for him next time. Definitely would recommend requesting Filipe as your waiter when dining in. There was not one item that was ordered that I was not pleased with. From the coconut mojito, to the queso and calamari- all the way to the tacos and plantains. The calamari definitely is not like your ordinary calamari but if you are a fan of calamari I recommend trying it the portion is huge. A personal preference would be to ask to have the plantains cooked a little longer well-done, simply because I like mine a bit ‘over cooked’. The veggie taco is very robust and does not disappoint for those vegetarians or those whom aren’t like myself!. I recommend trying the coconut mojito but order at your own risk because this beverage is one you’ll definitely want more than one of! The atmosphere is very stylish, inviting, clean. The service is friendly, fast and does not disappoint. Will most definitely be a returning customer!
Damnnnnnnn can I tell you the steak was amazing. This seasoned piece of meat was freaking delicious. The steak Chimichanga was absolutely perfect. The Chorizo cheese dip is amazing. Drinks were delicious. The restaurant was super clean and spacious. We had Jesus as a waiter, he’s the best
This place was FANTASTIC and our Server Brain was GREAT he knew the answer to every question we asked, he offered suggestions and answered reasonably honest stopping short of getting himself in trouble with his bosses!!!!!! Lol The whole menu is mouth watering and you will find items you do not see in other "Mexican" style restaurants in the area .. We will without a doubt return on another trip in this Rea.
From the excellent service to the tasty Tex-Mex to the clean space and nice decor, Pepe’s is a solid spot for lunch or dinner in Lawrenceville : The staff speak English and Spanish, the menu is broad and their fajitas/quesadilla/margaritas are good for the price! There’s free parking and it’s open until later than most places in the area on weekdays. Right next to the mall too.
The service, food, and drinks are great. What made this restaurant stand out is the taste of passion in the food, healthy portions on each plate, and you definitely don't have to question if there is liquor in your alcoholic beverage.
This is honestly my favorite restaurants in Georgia! The service is always good and the prices are reasonable, but the quality of the food and portion sizes are amazing! I highly recommend trying the calamari as well.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
