What a great place. Wonderful cinemas, amazing atmosphere. The place is so much bigger than you think. It goes on forever. The cafe inside the cinema is also amazing. Great service, lovely menu. A great variety of meals to suit any food eater. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great knowledge of their products and services. Function rooms are available as well. A must-see place.
The vegan fritters were completely raw and doughy on the inside. The chicken was slightly pink on the inside. There were a lot of flies around. The servers were friendly.
Fabulous place to either enjoy a movie or treat yourself to something delicious to eat, or both! I love the old fashion style of it, and gosh, there are so many comfortable couches to relax. The cafe is beautiful, the food is great, the staff are super nice, there's parking available and it's kids friendly. I couldn't ask for more. Besides, Brooklyn is such a lovely area, you won't regret going for a walk while you're there.
Very disappointed about the food quality we experienced in the weekend! My partner got food poisoning. I was sad about how much this beautiful theatre has been let go into disarray. With prices going up I think it is more important that every experience be the best it can be and it’s not a time to rely on regular customers to look the other way.
Very nice place for dinner and a good glass of wine before going to the movie. Cozy place with very friendly service. After the movie the bar was already closed. That's a pity but nevertheless a good place to see something else than downtown Wellington. Take bus 7 to get there.
Lovely art deco-ish cinema, it has a really nice vibe to it. Friendly staff and comfy seats. Great night out!
The staff are super nice, the facilities are well kept, the quality of the screen and sound were great. I wish the lady sitting next to me had chewed more quietly, but apart from that it was a great visit.
Excellent theatre Lovely, helpful, friendly staff. Meals are normally great. BUT AVOID THE CURRENT DISH OF THE DAY AT ALL COSTS. See picture attached It is a totally bizarre excuse for a meal. Three or four very thin slices of beetroot eight or so green leaves A very small sprinkling of nut pieces A tiny amount of white yoghurt like sauce.....And a plate. I have a 15YO grandson who could have eaten the whole meal in ten to fifteen seconds........ James Bond was excellent though!!!!
Confortable convenient art house cinema with comfy seats, big screens, good range of food and drink available, with an on-site restaurant.
