Bacon/Egg pie why can't we have it all scrambled instead of a whole dam egg in it, total LET DOWN!!The mince/cheese pie wasn't the greatest. Their both award winning pies. Both pies were almost cold such a let down!! Cream donut 5/5

Got a steak n cheese pie from this bakery, ogt to my van and saw this was already squashed up. Very soggy and gravey already leaking inside the bag. I don’t think this worth $5.50
Visited this place twice, not because I loved it but this street has no other pie shop Pie costs more than what it's worth, pastry soggy, and taste not what you'd expect from a classic NZ pie. Pie is not even hot. Custard donut tastes like it's 3 days old-so stiff the cashier lady isnt happy to answer questions, generally unfriendly. Not going back.
I was in th area and wanted to try out their pies as they'd gotten an award in the 2021 Bakels NZ Pie Awards. I had a Pork & Cheese weird combo BTW as well as an award winning Bacon & Egg. The Pork & Cheese was what I expected... the Bacon & Egg wasn't. In NZ, pies are uniformly good so it's pretty difficult to produce something that stands out. Their B&E definitely stands out. To begin, the bacon was a single large piece. Unusual but not unpleasantly so. But the standout was the egg. Clearly cracked directly into the pie casing, it featured a "not completely set" yolk. I'm a big fan of "gooey" yolks. This one was closer to set than my ideal medium gooey but still a revelation and something that I've never seen in a pie prevously. A well deserved award for this pie.

This is a really yum bakery!! It is immaculately clean and all the food looks really good. I can only vouch for the mince savoury’s at this stage but I will be back.
The best bakery in Onehunga for pies in my opinion. The insides are full of flavour and the gravy isn't too runny, so it doesn't pour out everywhere when you take a few bites, pastry is solidly built and yum. Strongly recommend the steak pie variants. Their cream-filled donuts are a big hit too. Don't get the toast sandwiches after 10am, they get too dry and crispy sitting out for too long.
Legends with bright smiles serving award winning pies, a wide variety of flavours, quality ingredients. Only thing I haven't liked was the satay chicken sandwich which didn't have any satay flavours at all
They have a nice if your, not a vegetarian healthier pie alternative. In the form of a baked pork bun. Why healthier a bun has no fat in the bread. Nice taste too. If enough people ask they may be willing to make other flavours, for example; veggie, or chicken.
