I was a student in Whitianga in 2001 and I always wanted to visit this lovely town once more in my life. Finally I managed to come back and stay at Peninsula Motel for 2 days. I had wonderful holiday here. Super kind staff, close to town, nice and clean room.Rooms: 5/5
Our accommodation got cancelled late last night and we were lost on the coromandel peninsula. We called up in the hopes of getting a room for three adults and a puppy. We were greeted with good humour and told it was our lucky day. The room was spacious, clean absolutely perfect for travel weary humans. I am so appreciative that everyone here was so accommodating and allowed us a comfortable place to sleep. Really could not recommend it enough. Thanks again for everything

Extremely clean, nice and spacious and clearly really well cared for! Lots of little extras that make a difference like genuine plunger coffee rather than instant.
Our host was great, very accommodating, we had a couple of small issues which he rectified immediately. Would definitely go bag as is also a dog friendly motelRooms: 4/5

The Deluxe unit Fred upgraded us to,was spacious,tidy and very well appointed.It is situated only a 5 minute walk into town,so didn't need to use our car for our 3 day stay.Newspaper delivered each day & Fred dropped off Avocado's for our snacks , again a nice touch.Rooms: 5/5
