We have been renting Mini vans for the past 5 years and Pegasus have never disappointed. During the long weekends when we need to return the vans Pegasus are very accommodating and would always tell us to take our time knowing we would be stuck in traffic. We are grateful and will recommend with 5 Starts.
A rented a car for a few days, the car was good and clean. Pick up service was quick. However at the checkout Derek was very rude! Took the key and said bye. I tied to speak to him twice to ask about the credit card details I have previously provided and the copy of the card they took. He ignored me twice and again said bye. I was unable to get through to him and I never got answers to my questions. I am unhappy with this customer service. They should treat their customers better!
I book car rental with Pegasus 4 months ahead of my trip in November. 10 days before my trip in end of February Pegasus notified me that they don't have car for me and my booking cancelled. What I was told that booking is based on availability!? Why did they wait over 3 months to find out? My vacation was ruined and I had to pay crazy money to get a car from another rental company. DO NOT DEAL with this guys!!!
The van different to the one we hired from the website btw came to us with visibly dirty seats, the lighter port for car chargers wasn't working, the window rattled very loudly, the back door wouldn't stay open, the lights on the dashboard wasn't working so driving in the dark was difficult not being able to see the speedometer and the AC was also trash af. I won't lie, due to weather conditions - the door was thrown open by the wind and there was damage to the adjoining part of the door - not too bad of damage but it was declared to the company on return. The employee who dealt with it was incredibly unprofessional. Glasses were left in the van and not 5 minutes later, my dad returned to pick them up only to find the same employee had snapped the glasses in half and thrown them in the bin. Incredibly unprofessional behavior. UPDATE: My uncle had returned his van and declared damage to the windscreen a truck had driven past and a crack in the windscreen was created. The māori employee same employee threatened my uncle stating, "do you want to see me even more angry? pay the money right now". PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS COMPANY - Atleast this branch. This employee is a grinch of a human being and knows no professionalism or compassion.
Booked on-line for a Suzuki Swift as pictured on receipt but on pickup recieved a Nissan March. While driving sounded like a there was hole in the exhaust. Bit disappointed.

Breath of fresh air in the rental world as George and Jazmine were excellent to deal with. Vehicle was an excellent shape and gave us no troubles at all, which is exactly what you want. Would definitely recommend them.
I rented a truck from Pegasus and have to say it was a good experience. I was in and out within 5 minutes, paperwork was easy and the guy behind the desk was a brilliant bloke. I wouldn't hesitate to hire from these guys again.
