It's a great playground for the kids, but if you are a parent in a wheelchair and have a small child that requires your help, you will not be able to do so as the whole playground is bark. Makes it very frustrating.nThe kids love it, but our youngest needs his older sibling to watch him and I have to sit to the side and watch.nWill note there is wheelchair accessible toilets and baby change table so that's a bonus.
Excellent park, my 2yr old definitely had a lot of fun.nGood mixture of equipment and toys, I wish there were more parks like this in Christchurch.nnThe only thing that's make it better is if there was a small fence run around as the carpark to the restaurant next door is very busy and kids are so so fast
An awesome playground that my boys spend two minutes on before making a b-line for the sandy faux beach. The Nor'easter can really bite in Pegasus so be sure to take an extra layer on those days. There's a cafe a short walk away too if needed.
Great playground for a wide range of ages. Small artificial beach facing the lake, plus a few bridges and a waterfall to make a nice short stroll. Toilets, bins and plenty of seating on-site. Would be great if the café nearby had better open hours, but the Flat White Café is only a short walk away so head there instead.
