It's never nice to have to take a trip to the after hours but the staff at Pegasus are fantastic. They're always so thorough and empathetic. I've been to there after hours twice now for 2 different urgent issues, I've also accompanied family members there when they've had health scares and all those times the doctors there have always been professional and treated us with kindness. They're probably so overworked and undervalued but they still put their best foot forward to treat those that need them. The wait times can be long but it's a great place to go if you want great doctors and nurses and access to a lot of the medical equipment and resources required for a vast array of emergency treatments.
I always have a TERRIBLE experience here. The reception staff are always rude and I have to wait for about 45mins after my appointment time almost every time I’m in there, never with an apology or anything. If I was 45mins late there is NO WAY they would see me! The doctors never actually listen to whats wrong and just google it in front of you instead!! I constantly have an issue with getting my repeat prescription of the same medication I’ve been on for the last 4 years. They have no regard for anyone else’s time and just expect you to not only drop everything including work to have an appointment whenever, but also expect you to hand over $60 every time you have to book another appointment, because their doctors wanted to see if something else worked before giving you what you went in for. It’s become completely unacceptable and I will be finding another, more respectable doctor immediately.
I am a new patient after living here for 5 years I have various acute conditions and the first thing that really impressed me was if you are a acute patient you can be seen on the day the doctors and all the staff are fantastic keep up the good work
I am so glad to have finally found a practice that provides such high quality service at every level; from the welcoming, reassuring staff at reception, to the extremely diligent nurses and the exceptionally kind and attentive doctors. I have seen Dr Tessa Stewart and Dr Isaac Ryan, both of whom have gone above and beyond, treating me with genuine compassion and respect. Tessa handled my concerns in a sensitive, comprehensive and extremely diligent manner which made me feel incredibly safe and well cared for. Isaac has an outstanding aptitude for handling mental health concerns in terms of understanding, validating and empathising with people dealing with psychological challenges, as well as being able to navigate the system to access helpful services and support. There is excellent communication between staff, which has resulted in very a prompt and efficient response to every crisis I have dealt with this year. They have all helped in every way possible, making emergency appointments when necessary, dealing with my concerns immediately and working together on complex issues to ensure I have been well taken care of in and out of the practice. I couldn't ask for more from a medical practice, thank you team.
I am extremely disappointed. I made a payment on the day of my appointment in March however for some reason the payment was not put against my account. I received emails saying they were sending my account to the debt collector after I had told them that the account had been paid on the day. I then realised that they had also overcharged me when I provided evidence of the payment. I have asking for them to clear the amount due and refund the money however it has been over a month and I have heard nothing and no apology either.nMyself, my parents and grandparents have been patients for years and I am not the first person for this to happen to, my dad and two of my grandparents have also had very similar issues. Not good enough and I will not be going back. Definitely DO NOT recommend.
