I have been mucked around multiple times by reception here but recently more so with being called back by a nurse. I work full time with clients and can’t take calls while I’m with a client so I let reception know for a nurse to call me at times I’m actually able to answer, yet they still just call me at random times and I end up not being able to talk to a nurse which is very frustrating and stressful, especially as I’m pregnant and want to be seen as soon as possible. I was just spoken to very rudely by Jan on reception who spoke over me while I was trying to talk and didn’t apologise for how much I’ve been let down.
Have terminal cancer visiting from Australia i explained I’m a nz citizen visiting from Australia forgot a medication I only needed 5 tablets i haw my Australian script on my phone . The Pharmacy next door said hopefully the medical centre can give you an urgent script . Was told by receptionist no you need to go to Christchurch there’s 3 medial centres that do walk ins .i said it will be a 2 minute appointment for 5 tablets . I said it’s really important that I have this drug its detriment to my health if I don’t . Not blaming the receptionist obviously a directive from management shame on them. InOwn based business and would never would treat patients like this
I always have a TERRIBLE experience here. The reception staff are always rude and I have to wait for about 45mins after my appointment time almost every time I’m in there, never with an apology or anything. If I was 45mins late there is NO WAY they would see me! The doctors never actually listen to whats wrong and just google it in front of you instead!! I constantly have an issue with getting my repeat prescription of the same medication I’ve been on for the last 4 years. They have no regard for anyone else’s time and just expect you to not only drop everything including work to have an appointment whenever, but also expect you to hand over $60 every time you have to book another appointment, because their doctors wanted to see if something else worked before giving you what you went in for. It’s become completely unacceptable and I will be finding another, more respectable doctor immediately.
Nurse Haley....nWhat a unpleasant person to speak with. With the voice attitude it clearly sounds like she does not enjoy her job... maybe I may have got her on a bad day but wasn't pleasant at all. In future please speak kindly to all patients. I work in the health industry myself and think it was very rude of you with your unfriendly attitude. Might be a good idea to have a job change.
Absolutely discusted! Brought my son in from school cause he got a skewer stuck in his toe facing inwards and they turned us down to get it checked. He was in pain and crying. Highly do not recommend wasting your time coming here. Take your kids elsewhere!
