Pedro's House of Lamb is a definite must stop when you are in Queenstown! The service was amazing, super friendly and approachable staff. We loved hearing the back story of the origin of the store. The food was absolutely fantastic, the most delicious, tender and flavoursome lamb I've ever had in my life! It melts in your mouth, falls off the bone, 100% recommend!
In Queenstown, myself and my mate decided to order some food we were craving some NZ Lamb so we decided to order from Pedro's House of the Lamb. The food arrived early and hot it was packaged really well and felt hot, the portion size was great enough for 3/4 people, beautiful cook and well season lamb, the peas and spuds were lovely well cooked not over done. The food was delicious I really enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this establishment. Vegetarian options: The Lamb is all halal.
Outstanding food! The lamb was incredible, the potatoes were tasty and the peas went perfectly with the meal. Cannot recommend this place enough. I’m not usually a big lamb fan but this really was special.
Terrific lamb in a Spanish style nestled on the edge of Queenstown. The lamb shoulder is HUGE and can easily feed 3. I recommend getting bread with it and perhaps the peas so you lighten it up at least with a little veg! It's super tasty, succulent herbed lamb, potatoes are more Spanish style, so not a crispy roast potato, but still well herbed and tasty. It's hearty and a great meal after a long hike!
Incredibly fresh and tasty lamb, literally falls off the bone. Treat yourself, why buy American Fast Food when you can pay the same and feed a family of four with this lamb shoulder with potatoes, add some bread for $2.5 and you are sorted. Thank you Pedro, and forgive me for not coming to you sooner.
The meal is nothing too fanciful. A large lamb shoulder and potatoes with simple seasoning. But it does give a good taste. Lamb well cooked and tender. If you are a meat liver, a must try when you are in Queenstown.
Most tender fall off the bone lamb I have ever had. Been trying to get my husband to enjoy lamb for a couple years now his American It’s not a popular meat choice there. He tried Pedro’s lamb and is now on board! We have had it twice while visiting Queenstown and will probably have again before we leave. The slow roasted lamb is top notch and the potatoes and peas were also great.
We were greated with friendly smiles and a welcome to just sit and have a drink.a earm blanketis on the back of the chairs for you to keep warm along with the heaters..their dastardly plan of letting you just stop for a drink is a trick..you will get drawn in by the wonderful smells that surround you. We had a few tapas items and each one got better..my only complaint I NEEDED MORE BREAD THAN IN THE BASKET...price's are good. Service is exceptional. THEY TAKE FRIENDLY to a whole different level. Would happily go back for more. Beautiful surroundings..Beautiful food..Great atmosphere. What more can you need
Best lamb in Queenstown hands down! You can preorder to make sure you can secure your food. Second visit here and the lamb does not disappoint. The bread rolls weren’t great but the coleslaw was really good, recommend ordering with the lamb. Would 100% be back if in Queenstown again.Recommended dishesLamb Shoulder with Potatoes
Great tasty Lamb. Yummy as ever, this is take away option and only sell one size. We have been having this every time we visit Queenstown. Thanks Pedro’s House of Lamb!
