Imagine waking in to the smell of fresh baked bread. Outside the bellbirds are calling and you can hear the children running down the stairs out into the farmyard to collect eggs for their breakfast. You make your way out to the verandah of the authentic Banks Peninsula settlers cottage where you sit drinking your freshly brewed coffee contemplating the day ahead. Perhaps you will choose to relax in the spa pool while the children enjoy the animals in the farm yard. Perhaps you will read a book in the shade of one of the trees. You may even decide to pop into Akaroa for a spot of shopping. Whatever you decide, you are sure to have an enjoyable and relaxing time in this most picturesque holiday location.
Peak Homestead was built by the early European settlers in the late 1800s and was originally a grass seed farm. It has been in the Craw family for three generations. In its prime it was a family home to nine children!
Now Peak Homestead is being made available for you to come on holiday, either with that someone special, or with the whole family. In fact, Peak Homestead can sleep up to two families, so bring your friends!
Prices start at $190 per night for a couple. $220 per night for a family (two adults plus associated children) up to $250 per night for two families (four adults plus children).
For groups of adults the price is $85 per adult per night (minimum of $190) up to a maximum of $250 per night.
Peak homestead sleeps two couples (two double beds) plus 5 singles.
