This is a review of PB Tech Web sales, not this specific branch.nnI bought an item that measured 17 x 9 x 1 cm 153 cu cm. The manufacturer had packed it in a box 21 x 11 x 2 cm 462 cu cm. PB Tech sent it to me in a box 26 x 21 x 16 cm 8736 cu cm. So roughly 20 times the volume of the item in it’s original packaging. Wasteful packaging?nWell you could argue that amount of packaging was needed to protect this fragile item. Except that the item in question is a phone case that is claimed to provide “Military Grade Drop Protection”. So yes, unnecessary packaging.
First, I got the warranty here and then exchanged the item. But because of my silliness, I got the wrong one, so I had to exchange it again, and then again…. It was quite troublesome for the staff, but they were not impatient at all and did their best to assist me. I truly appreciate their kindness and patience

Kim Hunter at PB Tech Wellington literally saved the day. My son was determined to build his own first gaming PC but had a really tight budget and less knowledge than he thought he needed. Kim drew up a list of components - the best for the budget - and gave us wonderful advice, with patience and empathy. We love PB and cannot thank Kim enough.
I am very disappointed with my recent experience at PB Tech. I purchased a laptop with specific specifications, only to find out later that the exact same model was being sold at a lower price. When I inquired about the price difference, I was told it was due to different suppliers.nnWhile I understand supplier variations, as a customer, I believe pricing for the same product should be consistent or at least transparent. It's frustrating to feel like I overpaid for something simply because of internal supplier arrangements, which should not be the customer's concern.nnPB Tech should ensure that customers are offered the best price for the same specifications, regardless of the supplier. This experience has left me feeling unfairly treated, and I hope the company addresses such issues moving forward.
