This shop is heaven for serious tech enthusiasts. They carry a lot of products from a lot of brands, even those not as well known. Their stock room is probably bigger than the whole storefront itself! With all the products it's easy to get overwhelmed, but the staff are always ready to lend a hand and answer any questions you may have to lead you to the right product. I bought a set of keycaps and chose click and collect as they didn't have it in stock at the store. The quoted time to pickup was about a week, but it was actually much less and was ready in 3 days.
I found that I had need to upgrade the ram on my laptop to run my software. Also needed to look at a Wacom Intous Graphics Tablet to help with my video editing.nI rang PB Tech and got a Vincent Linzo on the phone. After a short conversation Vincent looked up my history and was able to suggest the best Graphics Tablet for me along with the price as well as give me a price for the ram upgrade.nNo sooner had I hung up the phone when an email outlining what we had talked about arrived. Now that's why I use PB Tech for all my Tech support.nThe next day I visited PB Tech for that ram upgrade and a Wacom Graphics Tablet.nWell I got Vincent again.....What a great customer service person. Explained everything in a way an old man can understand and leave feeling better off than when I stepped into PB Tech
Extremely poor service!, bought a brother printer through Pbtech brought it home and followed the instructions exactly for setup. Went through the process of setting the printer up but the printer keep stating reinstall ink cartridges. Had my step son look at it who is far more tech savvy than I am and he could not get it to function either. At this stage it's OK things happen. Took it back to Pbtech who said it was faulty and said we need to send it off to Brother to be fixed and will take up to 10 days for this to be complete. Fantastic I'll wait for them to fix it while I still have no printer to print my documents. I was told in 10 days maximum the issue would be resolved. Several weeks go by and I call P tech to find out it has been fixed and they were sorry they didn't send a text message to let me know it was ready. My biggest issue here is not that the printer was faulty or that I had to contact them to find out when the printer was fixed but the fact that Pbtech sold me the printer and didn't take immediate responsibility for a faulty product. In my eyes they should have given me a new printer and sent the one I had to be fixed on there own terms. Don't make your faulty products the customers problem make it your own!;
Returned on a product that was not fit for service.nIt was completely hassle free. A pleasure to deal with. Will shop here again.
Both times I've been have been quick and super efficient. They have their systems down when it comes to picking up orders outside peak hours
