Bought a new desktop set up today - a long overdue upgrade from an all-in-one. Was a bit daunted by the options but we know PB Tech is the best place to buy tech gear. We got absolutely fantastic support and advice from Senna. Not pushy at all, very patient, listened to what we needed and gave three good options, plus his recommendation. Very happy!
Wow, what a great experience dealing with Ken from PB Tech in Tauranga. We needed to return a laptop that had recently malfunctioned. He promptly set us up with a loan unit and booked ours in with minimal inconvenience. Exactly a week later, we got a text from Ken to pick up our repaired laptop, which was fixed in Auckland and no charge applied! We highly recommend PB Tech Tauranga and Ken. Great service guys! -;
My wife ordered a mother board for a computer being built by her grandson. She was sent and charged for 2 mother boards. I took one back today and they accepted it was their error. The cost that my wife was charged for each mother board was $222.86. They only refunded 212.76. Their rational was that they should not have to pay for the freight or the surcharge even though it was their fault. I believe this is a very dishonest practice. I would suggest that customers be very careful with this retailer especially if you are ordering online. Not a good look. If they come back to us and agree to refund the full amount then I will amend this post.nThey refunded the money.
beware of their returns policy. they are openly lying and insisting on a 10% stocking fee when the truth is there is absolutely no way they can when the product is faulty, also they never advise you of their retuns policy therefore they cannot charge fees. i will post the results from the case i am filing against them. my problem was they sold me a product and the customer support was non existant thereby making my product unuseable and they were lying about the connectivity results as well.
Called into 2nd Avenue branch today for some advice . I was dealt with by Brian, I say ‘dealt’ because I certainly wasn’t helped! Every time I spoke he looked up to the ceiling huffing and puffing. Brian needs to get a job he likes because he’s pretty awful at this one.
