Exceptionally clean, lovely pool and spa, tennis courts, games to use, bbq area, comfortable beds, excellent amenities provided for cooking and outstanding service. Most homes in the same are you rent make you bring your own bedding and towels. This is an exceptional facility and it deserves higher than a five star rating.
Excellent accommodation. Very tidy, friendly hosts. Picnic benches under a shady canopy was very nice. Definitely a comfortable place to stay. Stayed one night with Fulton Hogan.
We enjoyed the final weekend of our holidays here and I can't think of a better place to have come.nnThe attractions of the local area were lovely, plentiful, and well described by our knowledgeable hosts.nnThe best bit for me was actually chilling at the lodge and enjoying the multitude of amenities.nnThe pool was perfectly heated to take away the cool edge but still a refreshing reprieve from the heat. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool area, enjoying the sun loungers, and we made use of the poolside bbq for one of our dinners - so easy with the SuperValue grocery store a short walk away. I could have easily spent the whole weekend in this area alone!nnIt was way too hot for the spa, but it still had me tempted!nnWe also made use of the games, chilling out on the patio of our room, and enjoying afternoon shade and sunset views in the larger picnic area.nnThe rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed, and hosts Simon and Carole made us feel more than comfortable to sing out if we needed anything at all.nnWe came on an adults only trip however it is really kid friendly with everything for kids younger and older to enjoy, including a separate TV and games room. We will bring them on our next visit maybe!!.
Enjoyed our stay here, rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a two night stay. Would be great for kids with play area and pool. We borrowed the bikes and biked around pauanui. Close to shops and restaurants
Absolutely wonderful stay! The location is impeccable and the rooms were absolutely beautiful. The best part though was Carole, who was incredibly kind and helpful. If we return to NZ, we will definitely stay here again!
